As part of the European Erasmus+ PARCCE project, our school presented an experiential activity at the 14th Student Festival that combined ecological awareness and creative reuse of materials.
Our students participated in a workshop on transforming an old t-shirt into a fabric bag, discovering in practice how an object considered useless can gain new life through imagination, creativity and the appropriate educational framework.
With scissors, paints, ribbons and a lot of imagination, the children:
- developed craft and design skills,
- became aware of the circular economy and waste reduction,
- learned to see their clothes not as “consumables”, but as raw materials for new uses.
This activity is part of the PARCCE program’s goal of cultivating critical thinking and ecological awareness in students through innovative, interactive and participatory activities.
