Congratulations to Myrsini Primary School (Ileia region in Greece), that has implemented and documented a great number of activities of PARCCE project and celebrated the outcomes through participating in the regional Festival (15/05/2026)!
Specifically, through the PARCCE activities, the students of the 4th and 5th grade that participated acted as “field meteorologists”, analysed graphs of CO2 emissions in Mathematics and built greenhouse models in Physics. In English class, the young students became “Weather Reporters”, played recycling games connecting language with environmental action.
As part of active citizenship, students from both grades took part in the ” Plastic Free School” campaign and cleaned their school, transforming waste into works of art. Through the “Mediterranean Diet”, they exchanged recipes with their classmates from the Kyllini Refugee Structure, organizing a large common breakfast that taught them that climate protection starts from our plate and goes through social cohesion.
“For the Myrsini Primary School, the Erasmus+ PARCCE was not just a project about the environment. It was a life lesson that taught us that climate change requires cooperation, empathy and respect.” Xanthi Lambrou, Lead teacher
Congratulations to the responsible teacher Ms. Xanthi Lambrou, the two classroom teachers, Ms. Marina Bilianou and Ms. Maria Christina Papachatzi, as well as to the School Headmaster, Mr Konstantinos Zogopoulos. We are honored that such a dedicated team brought the PARCCE material to their classes in such a creative way. Your students are lucky to have you!
