National webinar for Innovative Education Material (IEM) in Italy, 26/03/2026

đź“… 26 March 2026 | 16:00–18:00 (CET)

This webinar represents the second and final session of the training programme developed within the PARCCE – Erasmus+ project, addressed to professionals working in formal and non-formal education.

The session is designed for teachers, educators and trainers interested in exploring innovative approaches to climate change education through the use of augmented reality and digital learning tools.

During the webinar, participants will be introduced to user-friendly and engaging applications, such as Blippar and ActionBound, which can be used to design interactive educational activities, discovery paths and learning workshops related to climate change topics.

The training will explore a range of issues including eco-anxiety, wildfires, sustainable Mediterranean diets and urban heat islands, demonstrating how these themes can be addressed through augmented reality-based learning experiences.

Guided by experts from Legambiente and experienced environmental educators, participants will gain practical competences for integrating augmented reality into educational practice, supporting more participatory, experiential and engaging learning processes.

The activities and tools presented during the webinar are particularly suitable for students aged 9–14 and can be applied both in classroom settings and in non-formal educational environments.

What participants will receive

  • Certificate of participation issued by Legambiente within the PARCCE Erasmus+ project
  • Operational skills to use ActionBound and Blippar for climate change education
  • Hands-on tutorials to develop educational activities in schools and outdoor learning contexts
  • Ready-to-use supporting materials, including presentations and educational handouts

This webinar represents an opportunity to innovate environmental education practices, experiment with digital learning methodologies, and actively engage students with climate change challenges.
